National Talent Export Programme
In an era where the global economy is increasingly powered by knowledge and talent, Nigeria is positioning itself to take advantage of the opportunities through the launch of the National Talent Export Programme (NATEP). The Federal Government of Nigeria launched NATEP on the 22nd of September 2023 at the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America. It aims to create 1 million jobs and boost Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings by harnessing the country’s vibrant human capital. NATEP will facilitate the jobs through 2 channels, namely through outsourcing and through physical talent exports.

Goals & Objectives of NATEP
Create 1 Million Jobs
- Objective: Increase employment opportunities in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector
- Objective: Create a talent pipeline, Certify them in line with global standards and Connect them to global tech and non-tech jobs
Increase FX Earnings and Revenue
- Objective: Attract foreign investment in the BPO sector
- Objective: Promote export of BPO service exports to international markets
